Numerus fixus, portfolio, audition or interview

Academic eligibility and selection are different decisions. A numerus-fixus bachelor commonly requires an early Studielink registration and then a test, assignment or ranking procedure. An art programme may require a portfolio, audition and interview. A business or professional master may ask for work experience, references, GMAT or GRE evidence, a case exercise or an admissions interview. A programme without a national numerus fixus may still reject applicants who do not match its curriculum or may close when capacity is reached.
